Acer palmatum viridis - Maple - 34 cm
Maple bonsai characterized by a height without pot of 30,5 cm, trunk size ranging from 0,5 to 1 cm and nebari of 8 cm. The plant is grown in a rectangular glazed stoneware pot measuring 21,5x8,5xH3,5 cm.
This bonsai of Acer palmatum viridis (maple) is a deciduous species, prized for its refined foliage that changes color as the seasons progress, turning from deep green to orange-yellow shades and deep red in autumn, until the bonsai tree sheds its leaves in winter. Cultivated in forest style (Yose-ue), it has several harmoniously arranged trunks that create a natural, balanced effect. The distinctive Tokoname pot, by master potter Satomi Terahata, is rectangular in shape, made of green and blue glazed stoneware with a beige chrysanthemum motif. Its elegant design recalls Japanese tradition, complementing the bonsai with a harmonious and refined appearance.
Protect the foliage from the intense summer sun, while exposing it to the sun in autumn to intensify the color of the leaves. In winter, it is best to protect the root system from frost, especially when grown in very shallow pots or with exposed roots.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
