DESCRIPTION

Bonsai of Rhododendron indicum (azalea), an evergreen flowering bonsai: it is distinguished by its pink-coloured flowers with delicate dots of deeper pink on the upper petals. It is prized for its spring flowering which creates an elegant and lively contrast to the green leaves. The leaves are small and oval, bright green during the growing season. Being an evergreen, it maintains its foliage all year round; in the colder months it may take on darker or bronzed shades, while still maintaining a decorative appearance. It is grown in a double-trunk style in a round, cream-coloured stoneware pot that gives colour to the composition by harmoniously matching the colour of the foliage and flowers, which are light and bright.

Location
