DESCRIPTION

Bonsai of Rhododendron indicum (azalea), an evergreen flowering bonsai: it is distinguished by its delicately shaded pink flowers that range from a more intense shade at the petal end to a lighter one towards the inside of the flower. It is prized for its spring flowering which creates an elegant and lively contrast to the green leaves. The latter are small and oval, bright green during the growing season. Being an evergreen, it retains its foliage all year round; in the colder months it may take on darker or bronzed shades, while still maintaining a decorative appearance. It is grown in a blue round plastic cultivation pot.

Location
