DESCRIPTION

Bonsai Shohin of Rhododendron indicum (azalea), a flowering evergreen, is distinguished by its colorful flowers. It is prized for its pink and fuchsia spring flowering, which creates an elegant and lively contrast to the green leaves. The leaves are small, oval and elongated, bright green during the growing season. Being an evergreen, it retains its foliage all year round; in the colder months it can take on darker shades, while still maintaining a decorative appearance. Cultivated in a multitrunk style (Kabudachi), in which all the trunks grow from the same base, sharing a single root system that effectively makes them a single tree. Grown in a cloud blue glazed stoneware pot, creates a refined contrast with the color of the vegetation, enhancing the composition with elegance.

Location

Grow bonsai outdoors all year round, taking care to place it in a sheltered spot during the colder months and in partial shade during the warmer months. Azaleas also benefit from a well-ventilated position.

Watering

Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
