DESCRIPTION

Rhododendron indicum 'Benikage' (azalea) bonsai, an evergreen flowering plant, is distinguished by its distinctive, colourful flowers. It is prized for its spring bloom, characterised by fuchsia-coloured flowers that create an elegant and vibrant contrast with the green foliage. The leaves are small, oval and elongated, bright green during the growing season. As an evergreen, it retains its foliage all year round; in the colder months, the leaves may take on darker shades, yet still retain their decorative appearance. Trained in the cascading style (Kengai), it features branches that extend downwards in a fluid and harmonious manner, creating a beautiful sense of movement. Grown in a round, unglazed terracotta pot, it creates a refined contrast with the colour of the foliage, enhancing the composition with elegance.
