DESCRIPTION

This Malus Evereste (apple tree) bonsai, belonging to the deciduous fruit tree variety, is appreciated for its pinkish-white spring blossoms and subsequent production of small apples, which turn from green-yellow to red when ripe, giving character to the tree. The foliage turns orange-yellow in autumn and sheds in winter. The cloud blue glazed stoneware pot contrasts elegantly with the intense green of the foliage. Cultivated in a stump style, it has multiple trunks emerging from a single base.

Watering

Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water thoroughly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.

Fertilization

Fertilize from spring to fall, avoiding the hottest months of July/August; it is best to fertilize at the end of flowering and after pruning, using an organic, liquid, or solid fertilizer.

Repotting

Repot young specimens every year, and mature ones every two years. Either at the beginning of autumn, so that you can enjoy the flowering the following year, or in spring, before the growing season begins, but then you will have to forego the fruit for that year.
